About Ali Neov - Virginia & Maryland Registered Dietitian.
As a Registered Dietitian, I've dedicated my career to helping adults achieve their nutrition goals. With over 10 years of experience as a registered dietitian, I've had the privilege of helping people navigate the complexities of healthy aging and optimize their nutritional well-being.
My Expertise
I specialize in empowering individuals to live their best lives, free from symptoms that hold them back. Through a real food approach, I've helped numerous adults thrive, addressing their unique health and wellness challenges.
My areas of expertise include:
Weight management: helping individuals achieve their weight goals, whether it's weight loss, weight gain, or weight maintenance.
Gut health: reducing negative gastrointestinal symptoms, like IBS, GERD, and heart burn, and promoting overall digestive well-being.
Blood sugar management in individuals with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes: guiding individuals to maintain healthy blood sugar levels and prevent related complications.
My ultimate goal is to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to take control of their health, overcome chronic symptoms, and live a vibrant, fulfilling life.
My Story
My passion for working with older adults began when my grandmother moved into my childhood home when I was a teenager. I was able to see firsthand the impact of nutrition on her health. As her cognition declined, I assisted in care taking responsibilities. My experience inspired me to focus on learning about the impact that nutrition plays on cognitive decline.
I worked at a Continuing Care Retirement Community for over 9 years and became certified as a Board Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition (CSG) in 2018.
I now enjoy working with adults of all ages in my Private Practice.
